Getting to know the artist
Through this platform, I would like to share my journey as an artist through the years.​

Hi! I am M.S Sanjitha and I have been drawing and painting since I was 8 years old. I got drawn to the fine arts through inspiration from my grandmother. I used to watch her make rangolis on the front porch of the house and would come up with unique designs, as I would sit next to her enthralled. I learnt how to draw these kolams (the tamil word for rangolis) using pen and paper from my grandmother. I perfected this skill and would draw a lot in my free time, till I became quite proficient.
I went on to win a prize at the national level in a competition conducted by 'Art Chitrakala' and won the 3rd prize in the All India art competition conducted by BNHS and Tata Motors. ​
